
Aisha P.L. Kadiri
Doctoral Researcher, Political Theory
Aisha Kadiri is a PhD Candidate in political philosophy with a doctoral project titled 'Algorithmic Alienation'. In her project, she develops a theory of digital colonialism as algorithmic alienation, focusing on the work of Frantz Fanon. Aisha’s research interests include anticolonial political thought, critical algorithm/data studies, concepts of data privacy, critical phenomenology and postphenomenology, as well as the intersection between environmental thought and postcolonial theories. She graduated from the University of Copenhagen with a thesis on Theodor W. Adorno. During her PhD, Aisha has taught courses on race, technology, and US politics at Sciences Po and the University of Lille.
